|  | Jewel's Journey Because of you, Jewel finally has hope and loving support. For most of her adult life, Jewel has been homeless, physically abused, and battling addiction. You helped give her hope and a second chance at a happy, healthy life. Through your support, Jewel found a light at the end of the tunnel. Jewel was given furniture, household items, and help to find housing through outreach services at STH. During a class session, Jewel shared that the emotional support and respect she received at Sojourner Truth House made a bigger difference for her than the physical items she received. She had never known such loving support. | Womenade Womenade for STH began in 2003 as community members holding in-home parties to raise funds and show STH to those who might not have known about the organization. As Sojourner Truth House continues to grow, so does Womenade. This year, we are bringing you our new Womenade for STH website! Here you can learn about the many different ways that you can participate in Womenade through hosting your own party, attending a Womenade event, buying a Womenade shirt, or donating! |
